I added white haze to suggest them being is a sauna of some sort – but ultimately, the location is irrelevant, and my main goal was to further explore their anatomy.

For the most part, all my human characters are unmistakably human and all my nonhuman characters are unmistakably monstrous. But nestlings represent a rare case or beings that mesh the two, and so I wanted to I tried to emphasize contrast between human and insectile aspects in this picture. Whether or not I achieved it is up to you.
