dave grohl ran a lot during his show!seeing him from wayyy up high in the media gondola was like watching a mouse on speed.
i'm sure it's a great work out though.
he's one of the few singers that can say he works just as much, physically, as the drummer.
but the foo fighters were really one of the tightest bands i've seen live and they have an amazing show!
i only wish he didn't spit so much cause one flew right past me once while i was shooting in the photo pit ...
no, i wouldn't have been happy if it hit me. but i'm sure the people behind me in front row wouldn't have showered for weeks if it nailed them.
the foo fighters have really good fans.
the place was roaring.
and packed.
but, honestly, they deserve every fan there. they're really good! and look how happy dave grohl was. he's really in to it and passionate about music ... i love seeing that!
and i love all the other things going on in this photo ... the security in the red shirt and all the fans. it's crazy.
i'm getting a print of another one of my foo fighters pictures signed by them because i have an amazing friend!

Im shooting them in Australia at the end of the month. What were their contracts like? I heard they are pretty harsh (as in the band keep all copyright to your photos...as soon as you take the shot...)

I saw them in concert 2 summers ago...they so ROCKED! Such a GREAT shot here! This shot has so much feeling & emotion to it! Between Dave, the crowd up top, the crowd on the floor with there cameras & phones, & even the workers...they all are on a mission & have a huge presence in this photo...Awesome!!
