I know, Dark Souls 2 was my favourite game in the series, too bad it gets so much hate

It was the best for me as well.
Allough I played only 2 and 3.

3 looked nice but I wish they would have kept the "hex-spell" system and the blue Defender spirit.

For me 3 was too similar to DkS 1, DkS2 was the first one i played and inspired me to play the rest of the series
