Description
Springtime paints nature all around us with millions of colors, that truly seem to celebrate life.Often, vivid and vibrant colors attract our eyes more than soft tones, but looking a bit deeper is enough to discover real treasures.
This is a macro shot of the inside of a tulip.

great macro, I love how you used the rest of the flower as a color gradient background for the focul point. (does that make sense?)

Can i ask you one thing?? I suppose you use a macro lens... cna you give me more technical details?

i didn't use a real macro lens. it's just my canon 17-85mm lens (set to 85mm) with an extender ring, which allows to focus subjects as near as few millimeters from the lens. the ring comes from a set of three rings, each of a different length, which allow a good variety of focusing ranges.
however you can obtain similar results with a cheap inversion ring, which allows to mount your lens reversed. you can see, for example, Even in the littlest things and my DIY macro tutorial .
thank you for the appreciation an for the , mate.
