I wish I could draw cats like that, they all look great, and she seems so squishy ^^ I love it when people draw stuff like this. It's so cool to see cats or other animals with their personality traits showing clearly. I dunno why, but I'm crazy about that kinda stuff. Anyway, awesome job :3

I love all the poses and expressions, you´ve really sucseeded in making them cat-like. There´s only one thing missing: whiskers. Them I´d relly like in this character to bring even more feline touch.

Yeah, I know what you mean.. In this case, I didn't want to put too much detail into the face, mostly as I was just trying to nail down expressions more than anything. Anyway, I'll be trying some sketches with whiskers too, see how it works! Thanks for your suggestions- I do appreciate them!

why do I get the idea that you and the cat should be locked in an epic battle for your lady's love.
you always being the one getting caught trying to pull pranks on the cat... hehe... now that I would by a tape of to watch all the time..
anyways. the designs all look good. I think the one holding the mouse (( I or squeeky toy)) and the pink sketchy one right above it are my faves.

can't wait to see the final one man.

Yay Kitties!!! Even better kittie with attitude I like that you have a mixture of cute cartoonie with realistic. Also sadly the kitties in the lower right corner are hard to see...the red pencil didn't transfer too well. Well the kittie so fat she/he is falling out of the bed I can see fine just the one above. Fat kitties are too funny. Mine jumped off the coffee table the other day and evenything fell to the ground as he ran away.

"Baba" may be puffy, but is NOT cuddly! We have other cats, different body types, and I do sketch them.. this one is just the one I happened to have chosen for a character. I may get around to posting sketches of the others another time.

I agree, cats are definitely fascinating.

Well, that's the first impression from my POV -- I'm used to dealing with non-cuddly felines at home and at the shelters. I must be weird that way I'd love to see him in action sometime in the future, when you have time for your personal projects, that is.

Thanks!.. The sketch you're referring to is based on real-life events: The cat keeps me up late at night and wakes me early in the morning (fussing and meowing for food or attention).. makes me a little grumpy, y'know? because while I have to get up, the cat gets to go back to sleep all day!
