I used photoshop for this one. Just messily selected the shapes with the polygonal lasso tool then went back over the edges with a hard eraser to give it that off-set screenprinted look. Also I have a little trick in PS by going to the image>adjustments>variations menu and using it to make the colors a little more unified. Go Go Gadget Color-Adjustment!

This is something I can totally picture on a down-to-earth-purchase-at-hallmark-for-family-and-friends Christmas card. Maybe it's the simple lines, maybe it's the clear shading, maybe it's the adorable theme, maybe it's the dynamics in the pose; or maybe it's a combination of all those elements. <3 Whatever it is, it works and I love it~ C:!

Oh, I love the stocky figure and bold colors and lines so much, though! :3 I always love seeing your art. <3 I really like the shape of the arms and how slender they are compared to the bulkier torso and legs, and the giant antlers are so cute. I like that ... there is a snowflake in her speech bubble, too.

for some reason i ADORE this. i love the flats and her stance. you can so see where the weight falls, it's sucha natural great pose. it makes me think of old navy but not in a trendy way. it stands out to me in the way that it doesn't jump out as something unbelievable. it's just so simple and sweet that i just have to fave it. we're bombarded with these amazing anime color pictures everyday that it's almost become commonplace to me. i mean don't get me wrong, that stuff is still great in it's own right. but this is just so fresh and cute. i love it <3
