Description
Many peoples believe that the Whirlwind is a kind of demon who settled in one of the parts of the desert and terrorizes caravans, adventurers and any other traveler who decides to go through property of Whirlwind. This is partly true. But, actually, the Whirlwind is an ancient creature, which, many centuries ago, was created by the witch-king Kurzawa. The main duties of this creature was to protect and maintain in good condition one of the desert oases. King Kurzawa took care of his people and did everything to make the journey through the desert comfortable both for ordinary people who could replenish water supplies in the oasis, and for wizards who could refresh their old bones in cool pools with mana. Centuries have passed. The kind witch-king died, and with him began to perish his creations . The oases have dried up and their guards have gone missing. And only the creature, now known as the Sand Whirlwind, didn't disappear and didn't forget about his mission. Now, everyone who passes through a place where a magical oasis once was located is required to pay a tax, namely, pour a small flask of water into the sand. Thus, the Whirlwind tries in vain to restore the oasis what now covered with sand. The guard will never ask for more than what the traveler has and will not take away the latter. But if you refuses to pay this tax, then instead of water, your blood will pour on the sand.

You know? At first glance I thought the creature had a pair of Spongebob-like teeth... Until I realized them being eyes.
Now I think he's one mean Jawa assassin wearing Yellowfinger Heysel's hat
...
I'm only joking obviously. Once again you make creations that might look 'evil' but aren't inherently so. The creature's faithfulness and perseverance despite its failing attempts at restoring something also has a nice Souls feel to it

"...wearing Yellowfinger Heysel's hat" - I really was inspired by the big headgears from the Dark Souls series ( king Jeremiah, Logan etc).
