Well, if you couldn't tell from my last Scrap, I'm trying to re-design Base's family sword from a rapier style longsword to a cutlass/basket hilt broadsword combo.Still working at it.
Soooo, yeah.
Truth be told, this is a horrible stance to adopt, it hinders movement and leaves you open to attacks from all ends, it looks fancy sure, but trust me(cause I learned the hard way) its NOT a good stance to adopt in a swordfight.

Wow by the way that sword looks like it could split down the middle of the blade and swing around to the other side while the hand guard flips to where his hand is to become a double bladed weapon.

Well, its not supposed to, but I was just trying to accent the center of the blade to show it was double edged.

That's cool. You should take a look at some of the swords i've drawn for my story, maybe if i can get some free time sometime next month before or during spring break I'll upload them into my gallery.

Since it's art, aesthetics over practicality is juuust fine, and man, it DOES look awesome. I wish your stuff was in color, that would make it ten times more awesome. the sword design is beautiful.

You know, when I first looked at this, I thought "Wow! thats one dynamic pose"
But then I read your comments on it, and laughed! I never would have thought just how aweful a fighting stance that would be! *giggles a bit more* maybe if he sticks witht he stance an athletic cup might be in order!
