Description
Finally, I was able to pick up the brushes again thanks to the kindness of a great painter. I told him, indeed, of my project to inspire me with one of his paintings.
This canvas was reproduced on his business card (noted above: "invitation" hence the title of this work).
I showed him the beginning of this project, explained the Deviantart website,

I showed him 'A cake for You' from
to give him a glimpse of the links between us, dear friends.

Even before all these explanations, he gave me a wave of his hand, a smile and a roll of his eyes, reassured me and said:

"you can! Art students goes in museums with the permission of the curator to study the ancient masters, and as long as you do not copy me ... ". (How can i copy this man : he have more than fourty years of painting behind him !)

BUT...he could have got angry, refused this approach, but no.
He is a great painter.
A master of light,
I do not get tired of stopping in front of his window to look at his paintings.

Enfin, j'ai pu reprendre les pinceaux grâce à la gentillesse d'un grand peintre. Je lui ai fait part, en effet, de mon projet de m'inspirer d'une de ses toiles. Cette toile était reproduite sur sa carte de visite (avec noté dessus : "invitation" d'où le titre de cette oeuvre). Je lui ai montré le début de ce projet, expliqué le site Deviantart, je lui ai montré 'A cake for You' de ImpMon282 pour lui donner un aperçu des liens entre nous, chers amis. Avant même toutes ces explications, il m'a, d'un geste de la main, d'un sourire et d'un roulement d'yeux, rassuré et m'a dit "vous pouvez ! Les étudiants en beaux-arts font la même chose dans des musées avec l'autorisation du conservateur, et tant que l'on ne me copie pas...". Il aurait pu se mettre en colère, refuser ma démarche, mais non. C'est un grand peintre. Un maître de la lumière, je ne me lasse pas de m'arrêter devant sa vitrine pour regarder ses toiles.
