Description An M1A2 Abrams assigned toΒ 1st Battalion, 18th Infantry Regiment, 2nd Armored Brigade Combat Team, 1st Infantry Division during Allied Spirit VIII, a multinational exercise in the Hohenfels Training Area in Germany in January 2018.

Interestingly, the tank does not wear the traditional 3 color NATO CARC camouflage, instead being painted all-over CARC Green with a smattering of desert tan colored parts (like the CITV, underside of the turret, extended bustle rack, and CROWS mount), and a field-applied makeshift arctic camouflage pattern, similar to those seen on M1s during REFORGER exercises in the late 1980s.

Oooooh, I like. Wonder if they'll bring back that winter scheme anytime soon.

Certainly an interesting combination of colors. I really like Abrams when they receive a livery outside a single tone.
