Lagoon's face went from a horror show to cute today.fehhhh. she's going a lot better than the unoa hoofies i'm also working on.

I always wanted to cast my own dolls. A good friend of mine has made some heads here and there but she told me what a pain it is. I do enjoy making the face-ups though, perhaps you would sell some separate heads too?
It's neat to see the process of what is involved in creating such delicate works of art. I'm glad you posted these.

I have a question about your sculpting abilities: any tips on how to get each limb even, and the body symmetrical? I really have a hard time with that bit >_<;

measuring tape and a mirror. :3 that's seriously what i use. measure the girth of your limbs as well as the length. I still end up with slight unevenness, but if it doesn't affect posing and it doesn't show, i'm not too worried.

the sanding sponge is a HUGE help. it cuts through the paperclay like butter and gets it super smooth. I made a video of it, but i forgot to post it here. i will do that. XD

i'm working on hooved legs for my unoa, my portfolio, sewing purses, and soon making molds of a giant version my machina. n.n;; i can't do just one thing at a time! XD

that's a little too long for me. XD it would be fun for a one of a kind doll... and as i was sculpting i was thinking of all the really odd dolls i'd like to make. if this new casting method i'm trying works, there may be more odd dolls from me soon. :3
