So I painted up the blue offcast machina and decided that she was a decepticon. I named her after the seeker, Thundercracker, randomly... I was trying to think of blue decepticons and she really isn't a soundwave type. Anyway. At the retreat this weekend I got creative and did some pinstriping and stuff to her! isn't she lovely now? <3 <3Ugh, I think I got sick on the plane, I feel all loopy and a bit feverish so i'm going to head to bed early. x_o

Thanks! She's got residue from the gun metal cast in her lines and some of it won't come off so she always looks /dirty/. :/

Awww I still think she looks freakin amazing! The gun metal was shiny though so does it look like she has flecks of silver dirt? Or just come out dull? XD I don't see it. You should pic spam her! That'ed be love!

It just comes out looking like she's dirty... it doesn't shine, it just sort of looks like someone's handled her a lot with dirty hands. XD

It's not that hard to cast, I'm sure you can do it yourself. :3 Smoothon.com carries a "super sampler" kit for silicone that has enough silicone and enough resin that you should be able to do your castings from that. It's $25. I don't cast for other people because I don't really have time to and I've had some really bad experiences with it in the past. You can also ask around on DOA if you like, there are a couple other people who cast and might be willing to do your casts. :3

glad you like her! Yeah, casting can be sort of a trial, but it's really rewarding too. :3 it's not too hard, but it can be frustrating.
