Description
Castle Duckula...Home for many centuries to a dreadful dynasty of vicious vampire ducks – the Counts of DUCKULA. Legend has it that these fowl beings can be destroyed by a stake through the heart, or exposure to sunlight. This does not suffice, however, for they may be brought back to life by means of a secret rite, which can be performed once a century, when the moon is in the eighth house of Aquarius...
The latest reincarnation did not run according to plan...
I've done a bunch of Dangermouse fanart pics, I figured it was time for a Count Duckula one(I like Duckula cause it had a theme that I've loved ever since: What if an evil monster wasn't actually a bad person- just that they were an evil monster... Look up my Joey the Basalisk stuff for more info on my thoughts of this.). This drawing came out so well(Usually, they have mistakes that I have to edit out which is why they are usually in pure black and white) that I desided to scan it in color... even though it's just ink. Just in case you never seen the show, first smack yourself in the face and say "I am a bad person who missed out on one of the funniest cartoons in history."... Now, here's the lowdown on the characters:
Count Duckula(The duck): Star of the show. Like the introductary says, there was a mistake with his latest reincarnation involving ketchup instead of blood. As a result, Duckula's lastest self is not the bloodsucking demon his predecessors were- in fact, he's a nice guy who's a vegetarian. He's still a vampire, however, and that fact sometimes puts a damper on his plans to become rich and famous. He's also what inspired ME at one point to be a vegetarian(I quit that because every vegetarian dish at the time had something that I hated, like raw tomatoes, or waterchestnuts.)
Dr Von Goosewing(The goose in the hat): A famous "Wampire hunter" who is not convinced that Duckula has gone streight. In fact, he thinks that the only good wampire is a staked wampire... er... I mean, VAMPIRE... Sorry, he talks like that a lot.
Igor(the hunchbacked vulture): Count Duckula's right hand man, and butler. Igor pretty much does whatever Duckula wants him to do. Still, after formally serving only evil blood-suckers, Igor hopes that one day, Duckula will go back to his neck-biting roots and quit all this "Nice guy" stuff.
Nanny(The giant chicken): Nanny is Duckula's maid. Gigantic body, microscopic face, and no brain- she doesn't know her own strength, and usually ends up smashing things: (Ring "-I'll get it." SMASH. "Order a new front door, Igor...") She babies her "Little Duckyboos" a lot to the point of spoiling him.
Well, there you go: Oh, and does anyone who was a fan of the show have info on if they ever revealed why Nanny always has her arm in a sling? I have a theory that might make a good fanfic(It also explains why Goosewing's got his lisp.) if it hasn't been explained.

My story has her permanently dislocating it from trying to shouldercharge Goosewing after he almost killed "Duckyboos"- which is why he also has a lisp.
Got to work on the details first- I might need to buy the DVD so I can remember it better(It's always hard to write for a show you haven't seen in years...)

None of MINE were named Steve Actually Steve makes me think of my favorite Sonic Wings character
(Well in the US version. In the Japanese version, his name is Anjera/Angela XD)

Yeah, I know not all exboyfriends are actually named Steve /\/\, It's really a reference to one of my favorite Dave Barry jokes(Sue and Louie actually has a lot of referances to some of Dave Barrys stuff on how love works, now that I think about it.)
I can't explain too much about it now, but It'll pop up sometime during the current S+L story.

Yeah, I figured it wasn't one of the big companies, otherwise I probably would have heard of it.
