Description
Even the largest predators die once.Early Miocene, California. A four hundred-kilogram amphicyonoid Pseudocyon, one of the largest land predators of its time, wandered into the bank, found there a huge Carcharocles megalodonΒ carcass thrown out by a night storm. It is not a fact that it would have looked at a giant shark as food, but a dead sea monster aroused a natural curiosity in a predator.
