This is page 4 of the CODEX and the first page of the 30 pages of the codex.The hidden blade was one of the Assassins most guarded secrets and yet Altair decided to draw the mechanism and workings down on paper? FAIL. hehe.

i really love this project of yours though this page lacks a bit, like any journal or codex page ,people tend to write descriptions by the drawings so it would be awesome if you addedd a bit of writting around it and maybe a picture of how it looks on an arm ,from above and from under

Its just cleaned up resized, enhanced and sharpened with a few effects to blend it with the background.

i only asked since it would a be a huge pain to actually copy each page by hand (though it is a neat idea if one had the time, either that or just wait until the limited codex edition is out

People have actually made real hidden blades there are lots of variations on how people think the hidden blade actually operated. If you know anything about craft it looks quite simple to make.
It looks like it has a pull system to pull the blade out and locks into place, then another pull on the same line releases the lock letting the blade slide back into place to lock again to stop any accidently activations. Do a bit of research... see what people have come up with?
