Despite popular opinion, I actually loved this episode and the song. I loved The CMC's outfits and I rock out to their song so often (it is easily my favorite MLP song). I love their poses here and the lettering is really awesome (especially how it copies the colors of each pony's body and outfit.

Well if there is a clever allusion with the typeface/lettering, it wasn't intentional. Of course if you are more specific I will totally pretend it was.
