Description
This is a 6x9 rich brown leather-bound journal with decorative raised paneling and a 3 cord spine.It contains a blue/silver painted head and tail on the text block and hand-sewn headbands.
Natural parchment writing paper for the text block and marbled paper for the end sheets.
Finished off with a light buffing of paraffin wax to give it a soft sheen.

I was inspired by a thought of a 18th century royal german cook looking through his secret cookbook for that annual wild hare dish to please the king.
I get the most strange ideas and just go with it.

Very nice, I like your simple leather bound journals more than ones that have more of a themed ornamentation... however, I am keen on gilding.

usually "broken" fullsize images are on the receiving end--try deleting your cookies and refreshing your browser.

Actually, it's only showing a few lines of the picture at the top and the rest is just solid gray as if the image didn't fully download.
