Description Sots Script is an ancient form of writing that is no longer publicly practiced. The glyphs, split into alphabetic and numeric, can be traced back to the Sots Islands. They were created by the Alia Ancestors and used as a decorative and cryptic from of writing. Usually used by northern witch doctors and those of the older order of wizardry and witchcraft, the glyphs would take on magical properties when spells and potions were written.

The ancestors of Sots Villages decorated the city with the once popular form of script writing. Settlers that ventured across to the main land also spread the knowledge of the Sots Script. Traces of Sots can be found on the walls of ruins across the various regions of Gollumeth. Primarily in the northern region of Horredath, Nutemous and Salama or better known as Fingers of Salama. The majority of Sots Script writings exist in the Historical Scroll Archives of Sots Villages and are only accessible to a select few Sots Scholars and The National Wizards Order of Gollumeth.

Β  Β  Β Excuse me, but I am find myself unable to procure any further information on this script, the Sots Islands, or The National Wizards Order of Gollumeth. If you could direct me to where such information would be found, or perhaps simply tell me their more common names if such exist, so that I may inquire further, it would be extremely helpful. I have never heard of this script before, and I can't seem to find it through typical search methods (though I suppose I haven't tried all that thoroughly). I am very interest in such branches of academics, and do percieve it to be delightful. Though it would appear this is a more latinised version of the original script, much like Latin FuΓΎark, and I would be greatly interested in the original script, and those intermediary. Thank you for introducing me to the Sots Script, but I must also ask what language it was designed for? (Though I of course see that this version is little more than a beautiful Latin cipher.)

Thank you for your interest in the Sots Script.
I wrote a fantasy novel many years back and created a world of Alia Ancestry which eventually Migrated to Gollumeth, a Continent west of Alia. My Novel was called, Gollumeth, The Bloodline of Horredath.
Within it's pages were the sacred writings of Sots. A language that is rarely used and very few know how to speak it. All of the knowledge of the Alia Society is contained on the Island of Sots, the original settlement of the Alia Ancestors. They are the witches and wizards that all the countries of the Gollumeth continent are named after.
If you would like to dive into the comically fantasy realm of Gollumeth, Please check out my book. It explains all.
Cheers,

Alright, this language is really cool, but I must ask. Are some of the letters sort of based on the English alphabet? Like the T is just upside down, the V just has an add on, as is the C. I'm not insulting you, but I'm just curious. Also, would you be so kind as to listen to the ideas for a fantasy story that I'm developing? I'd like to hear what you have to say.

Thanks for the analyzing of the script. To answer your question, some of the characters do have similarities of the english alphabet, but each character I have created has a meaning and so to the specifics of the angles.
Don't worry, I can take criticism. I am an artist and designer by trade. I have heard it all.
I rather like to hear others take on my stuff. It helps the evolution of design.

As for your story, I would be happy to listen to your story, who doesn't love a story.
Cheers,

Sorry for the late reply, but thanks. I'll let you have a go at this one short story once editing is complete. And thanks for the feed-back offer. I don't usually get it, and it's nice to see someone return the favor, so to speak.

Thank you. I have finally memorized the script. The next goal is to embellish it with a style of writing for royalty.

I'm going to write in this for a test... let's see if my math teacher can decode it!

Looks Awesome!

Cool idea. I have also ceated a trutype font of Sots Script as well. The revised limited edition of Gollumeth has Sots throughout the novel.
