Do pardon me if I didn't get everything right. I don't have much experience of drawing Belle. Anyway, just like I said in my Ariel tutorial, just apply these guide lines to your style and PRACTISE, you'll be be drawing her perfectly later.

Have you got any tips for people trying to start off drawing/drawing Disney characters?

It's really not complicated, you just need to practice. Study the characters! Watch the movies pause now and then and draw some quick sketches. And draw a lot! If it's Disney princesses you want to draw then just remember to keep it simple and use soft lines.
And tools? For this tutorial I used Photoshop CS5 and just a basic brush. Otherwise I draw with pencils, 3B-6B usually. Sometimes I paint with watercolours and sometimes it's all digitally.
