Description
I went on a short trip over the weekend, and on my travels (this was very early in the morning) my friend needed to take a quick "pittstop" we both went in separate directions and I stumbled across this beautiful spiders web (with spider) and I was compelled to photograph it...Hehe, so while I was taking photos, my friend accidentally urinated on an electric fence LOL! (The fence had no warning)... anyway, here is the spiders web, Iām calling them "Charlottes web" and "Charlottes web2" (Its a two part series)
With this image, i wanted to fit as much of the actual cobweb as possible, and luckily for me the spider was so huge that i didnt have to zoom or use "macro mode" either. The fact theres dew drops lining the web made me know that the web would show up no matter what. Also, to my surprise i was glad to see how the background turned out. the posts add a bit more background interest while not actually intruding on the image (yes thats the evil electric fence) and due to the mist, you actually cant see where the horizon is or where the sky meets the earth, another good aspect as i feel it draws attention more to the web and spider rather than the background

Thank you very much! Even though I took it more than 3 years ago now ( I think?) it's still up there among my favorite photos

This looks nice. You should consider making the spider into your avatar.
