I've just been playing Darksiders 2 and now all I can think is boss battle, boss battle, boss battle.

But I like the design of this it's very unique and interesting.

It's like one of those final, final boss battles- you just defeated what you thought was the boss at what really turns out to be merely the top crust of it's head. This would be the POV of the heroes either going 'oh sh*t' and or 'here we go...'

and that red pattern is mesmerizing.
