Elder Brain.So I went for something a little bit different with this, i.e. wanting to make the Elder Brain not look like a human brain, to emphasize it's alien-ness.
And then I finished it and though, wow, this looks a lot like some disembodied testicle.
I hate it when that happens.

Sweet, love the palette and translucency of the tank.
I don't think it looks too testicley, reminds me of the brainbug from Starship Troopers slightly, which is a very good thing!

Well, I did find that the weird mother-bug from Starship Troopers went the other way into looking a bit... vagina-ey.
