Description
Over the weekend I was able to take some step-by-step photos of the arm repair I did on my Gigi Grant doll.
Let me know if you have any questions!

Do you know how to remove/replace the forearms and hands? I'd like to fix some dolls so that they have moving joints instead of just sculpting a solid arm.

The forearms and hands of monster high dolls just pop out pretty easily.
You may be able to mod other doll types to have joints, but I'm not really sure how. :/

Haha You are welcome!
I haven't had that issue with ANY other MH dolls, just this one. :/ Thought it was weird, and tutorial worthy. XD

I am planning a few tutorials soon, (Ear removal, finger/feet modding, maybe a sculpting tutorial or two) any advice?
I need to update DA so badly.. I've been just distracted by so much lately D:

I guess I'd need it on making tutorials. I know what I did and what I plan to do for what I want, but I don't know too much on making tutorials? lol

ooooh! Ok I getcha now~
Hmmm well I suck at making tutorials or anything collage-related, so what I did was start a photoshop file that was a pretty good size (lengthwise and widthwise). Then made a very simple background, copied pictures into other layers and moved them around/sized them, then added text on another layer.
Hope that makes sense. XD
When you take the actual pictures for the tutorial, try to get them lit up really nicely. If it's hard to see the photos in your tutorial, chance are most people won't want to squint to read it all.
Hope that helps!

Was this a common issue with the dolls?
If so that makes me a little worried about production quality.

Good question! I have no idea if it is a common issue, but mine had it really bad. Gigi is the only doll of mine that has this problem with her arms, so I figured just in case I should make a tutorial. XD
It seems like it was just some extra flashing from the molding process.
