Stuff like THIS comes out.Okay so this was a warm up drawing so that I could get my last three requests done. Finally got a day off of work!
So yeh.. Dumb fanfic where Robot and Shannon became a thing.. Shannon saw her friends have kids and Robot was like-BUILD A BOT! And-he used his spare parts and Shannon's old brace to make... this thing.. Wow.. um.. kind of embarrassed to upload this now.. Should I do it?.. Yeh... Sorry guys... SO sorry.Β

I thought I'd never see anything like this. Usually the ideas people have for Robot and Shannon's kid is some sort of cyborg, (through miraculous conception?) It's kind of refreshing, honestly. I was really nervous to post my cringey ideas for of Robot and Shannon's potential children, so I know the feeling. :w: I like that it's a girl too. Don't even get me started on how cute she is.

Hahah, this is a little sad but Part of me was cringing while I was sketching her out. I told myself, "You shouldn't do this, you're gonna ruin a pure fandom", then I was like-what's the harm? Robot built her for Shannon, and I just had to! IT'S A TINY ROBOT IN A SWEATER.Β

It's taken years for me to come to terms with the idea that there IS no such thing as a "pure fandom." Even RJ, for as small as the fandom is, has been abused by fangroups on other websites. Can't think of a way to squeeze pedophillia out of Robot Jones? Never fear, because Tumblr's already done it. Yaoi? So passe.
With that in mind, an OC of two character's children is pretty harmless. And even without taking that into consideration, I think this is pretty faithful to the series, with the paring and the G rated explanation for where she came from and everything. Even if you weren't heavily invested into this character and this scenario, I really really like this.

You know what REALLY freaked me out though? I use Tumblr more than DA, so when I got back into Brave Little Toaster (because it's a phase that that I slip in and out of every year). I found porn of LAMPY... Why...? WHY...? That was the fateful day I learned that, nothing was sacred anymore. (Guess I've been blessed not to see any of the Robot Jones stuff yet lol).

I recommend that you never, ever search "Robot Jones" or related terms on Tumblr if you don't want the show ruined for you. (In fact, I think that goes for any series really.)

Hehe. Yeah it's pretty bad. I had to make separate blog for an oc I made a while back because people were making porn of her. Fortunately there's only-I think-9 drawings now, but I said "GUYS SHE'S YOUNG". Then I'm not so sure what to say when an artist that's 48% better than you makes one. XD
