Description A fairly generic reverse cold war scenario which diverges with a German victory in WWI. This later results in a series of communist revolutions during the Grand-Depression and the French Debt Crisis.

The Internationale acts as the premier force of Leftism in the world from Debs City to Paris, socialism rules with varying levels of success.
-Β The DSU is split into several 'Democratic States' and 'Free Nations,' split off mostly for its reconciliation program. Its standard of living is most similar to OTL Cuba and Russia with most of the population concetrated in urban centres. There is tension between the urban industrialists and farm collectivist which isn't helped by a brain drain to the UK and France.
- The French People's Republic is made up of many councils which while they claim to be democratic, members are mostly appointed by other councilmembers. France does boast itself as having the highest standard of living and an dynamic educational climate this exists only in the most prestigous cities, outside it is either extremely industrialized or poor and rural. Even worse is the situation in Northern Africa where fighting between Islamists, Nationalists, and French forces rage on.
- The Democratic Republic of Spain is what would be described as a Stalinist dictatorship, while shortage reached their worse in the 1940s with the Francoist Rebellion the current regime has stayed much more repressive than any other state in the Internationale. Its current project is deporting those troublesome Basque to the Western Sahara.
- West African People's Communes created a complex system of governance as the the solution to its ethnic tensions. While the standard of living is quite a bit higher than OTL if it loses support from the DSU and France it could all come tumbling down.

The Russo-British Bloc formed entirely to fight the threat posed by the Internationale.
- The Russian Republic spent it's early days an extremely flawed democracy with power having been handed over from strongman to strongman until it the thawing in the 1980s. Unfortunately this also saw a rise in seperatisim in many regions worsened by the feeling of lack of representation for the many peoples in the Country and the wealth disparity between rural and urban areas.
- The Eurasian Security Pact is Russia's pride and joy as it forms the largest military of any alliance when combined. Formed after the 2nd Great War it has gone from just a military alliance to an economic and political alliance.
- The British Empire lives on, sort of. The cultural rival of the DSU, it boasts it's high stanard of living depsite large gaps in it. The home island itself isn't doing as well as the empire would like, as London trys to move closer to being the centre of the universe as the decay industries lead to an amount of support for Socialism which worry's the ruling Conservative Party and royal family.
- The Indian Confederation is the superpower of the future with an economic growth rate greater than any other great power. Having been the testing ground for most market theories and boasting the largest population has led it it being one of the most 'dynamic' economies and earned it the nickname the 'digital nation.'
