~ At the age of six, Quilceda had finally mastered her basic dressage skills and some harder ones. The bay roan filly was a quick learner and had a natural talent. With the warmer weather and most of the horses getting back into real work, Jacquelyn decided that it was time to teach Quill the more difficult moves in hope to take her to her first show soon.

Jacquelyn decided to teach Quill the spanish walk first, as she thought the mare would enjoy the playful move the most. After a bit of working with her, it seemed that the she was getting it. For now, it was only at the standstill, but it hadn't taken long for the mare to figure it out.

Hopefully Quill would show as much focus in the show ring as she did learning the new Dressage moves, Jacquelyn hoped!

Yay for neglected HARPG horses and HARPG art! I'm so happy to finally have a bit of time and creativeness to work on some more pony art for Smoky Ridge. I've been trying to get back into the swing of things but I just didn't feel like it whenever I went to work on the -multiple- pictures I'd started. Hopefully this will be the end to that!

Excuse the awful story, too, I'm much better at the drawing part of HARPG than the writing.
