I think I've finally gotten more comfortable with grayscale and I enjoy working with it now. So all in all I like this picture, even though I'm not fond of the background.
China was a bit nervous among all the hustle and bustle of the inspection barn. She gazed about with large round eyes that took it all in. She never refused her handlers word though so all in all her behavior was fine.
Only 6 days left! I need to get crackin on the entry!

I really like that you can easily identify that the person is clearly a vet/vet assistant. And the way that you draw this mare makes me want to just fill my barn with appaloosas and knabsturps! Seriously, you have captured the beauty in this mare and the curiosity in her eyes. That neck is just superb!

That looks really great. I love the horse's inquisitive pose. I applaud you for being able to use greyscale this well. With me it's hit and miss way too often. *grins*
