Description
Hope walked Shekinah Valley's grounds with Anya, the cute little foal. She was working on her training methods, trying to be as patient and calm with the foal as she possibly could but the filly was making it difficult. She would dart forward and pull at the lead line just like a dog, or lag behind Hope to sniff at some interesting object as they passed. Hope could only smile at the foalish antics, she knew this stage would not last and before she knew it the fluffy foal fuzz and lanky foal body would turn into a beautiful skilled mare soon enough. For now, Hope just let her be a foal.

Ariston, sVa's male Doberman padded along after Anya and was another distraction to her lessons. Anya's favorite thing was to nip at the dogs nubby tail and jerk away as he spun around.

"Seriously you guys, Anya's not getting a thing out of this lesson, other than how to be annoying. Ariston, you're not helping." Hope sighed as they were coming up to the ranch house. Before going in to quickly grab a water bottle, she loosely tied Anya to the porch railing, then went in.

Before the door could even close behind Hope, Anya had her lead rope undone. She pranced away, Ariston following, curious as to what this little Nipper was going to do now. Anya noticed her company and the two picked up a game of tag so to speak, nipping each other and running until the other tagged back. Neither were hurting each other, and seemed to be enjoying the game, running up and down the dirt drive in front of the house. When Hope came out and saw their play she could not be upset at Anya for getting free. She brought out her phone and took some quick video of them.

"Ok times up guys, Anya, time to go back."
It took Hope 30 minutes, and a peppermint to finally catch the overzealous foal. By the time she did, both were breathing hard but Anya was the one with the smirk on her face.
"Well, I doubt we will put you in any liberty classes soon."

Just some fun halter training time with my sweet girl. This is also me learning to use SAI and it was quite fun to do the lines in. Took a long time though b/c I was learning, so by the time I got to the background I didn't feel like doing detail coloring. Enjoy!
