Since I was a filly I used a spell to phonetically sound out every word I see on the page into my ear canal. I don't actually know how to read.

It must be really cool to not only have a princess as your best friend, but one who will protect you from all her adoring fans by pulling a Nightmare Moon at just the right moment. I like how Twilight is so friendly and down-to-earth compared to the other princesses of Equestria... probably because she's the newest and is a bookworm at heart.
