Right, as well as an art student, I am a photography student, and my topic this year (as decided by yours truly) is "Imagination". So that leads to a lot of surreal and fantasy work, which is a lot of fun! : D

This picture, however, I'm not big on. I'm really not. Any contstrutive ciriticism would go a mile.
First of all, thanks SO MUCH to my siblings Heloise and Lysander for crouching/kneeling in freezing cold water while I got the shots for this little sub-project of mermaids. Freezing cold water that you could barely see in the original photographs, after all that!

The editting itself took, I dunno, maybe 2-3 hours? Possibly 4, but a lot of it was experimentation with what I wanted to do with the image - especially the background.

I don't really know what else I can say about it. It's not brilliant, I know, although kids seem to love it. But, even though it's not perfect I actually had quite a lot of fun doing it. The original photograph is mine, but the tail and ear are from another person's photograph (Though I editted the color. It was orange before). Unfortunately I have lost the name, but if I stumble across it at any point, I'll link to them. As of now, credit to whoever took the photograph of the fish that I used to create this image.
