I have been thinking of drawing my own Gem named Onyx. I can't really draw as well as most artists, or draw in the style of Rebecca Sugar. Do you have any suggestions?

Umm, you could try out this gemsona maker game to give you an idea of how your gem looks maybe, and then try to draw them based off the gem you made!
And you don't have to draw them in steven universe's style either, just do whatever feels natural first
