UF4.UF Artistry homework. We are exploring tonal ranges so our images have to be in grayscale.

I don't think that there is any thing that can improve this, as I already think it's perfect. But if you think it's possible, then I would love to see it when it's done !

Great job!! I've found that working with only a gray palette really increases your "eye," which is probably why Janet assigned this one. Your asymmetric composition of the elements, with several weaving in or out of the frame, make this piece work. The subtle texture in the background really sets it off.

I like all those rings and the way the curve of the largest one leads my eye upward to another grouping of them. Nice use of grayscale!

Thanks Kat...Janet did suggest to make the white a little whiter and the black a little darker and have less of the midtones...but I'm really struggling getting it right. I guess that's why she is having us do this exercise.

Thank you!...Rose Range Lite ucl for the main shape, then used the angle and magnitude params to sculpt.
