Very nice picture~ Would you mind that I borrow this picture as a reference
for a drawing or painting? (I can't decide which medium to use)

No problems whatsoever! and if you refer to me so it's nice, I often do it myself when I know the source.
Thanks Eva. I would love to see the painting.

Thanks Sue ! During the summer I can feel in every cell that it is quite right to be here, in my grandparents' house and old meadows (like this one).

So welcome. You are so luck to be surrounded with such beautiful countryside. There is definitely something mystical about that place. Well, its want I feel anyway when I look at it. Seems like you do too.

You are absolutely right, it is mysterious, especially in the evenings. I wish more people could be there, especially children . I know that when I was there as a child it meant a lot. I always feel calm and happy and never gets tired to be there. never.
Do you paint outdoors or from photographs or from memory? Do you have many nice places in UK, which you can take pictures and paint from?
I think of your forest painting, is there a lot of such forest left? I have seen similar forest in the US, completely different species of trees than we have. In north Sweden there is almost only three species, quite a big difference, if you compare. The light is often more blue in Sweden. The light in your painting is more yellow with a tint of light green, I often think of a natural environment to stay in.
When you have a lot of coldness, then blue light is not the most fun to surround oneself with
I am looking to start sketching, we'll see, but try, I can surely do . My best regards to you Sue

That is so wonderful that you found such happiness there growing up. It really is a special place
No, I don't paint outdoors, that is due to health problems though. I sometimes draw in the garden.
It varies really, I use photos, imagination. TV and magazines for ideas too. Any where I go I take loads of photos for future reference. Its also fun to start a drawing and see what you get, can be quite a nice surprise. I have had the odd vision too. Mountain top wolves was just that, so I had to do it.
We have a large forest area near where I live, where I take loads of photos. There is a lot of forest in the UK, I particularly love really old trees with a lot of character. I feel most at peace in the forest. Yeah, our forests are usually quite green.
Yes it would be fantastic for you to start sketching, you certainly have the talent there, the two on your gallery are brilliant. I would love to see more.
Kindest regards

thank you most kindly Tom, I know what you mean, it is this autumn feeling when you wait to maybe see an Owl. if you have something that is luminous or white, then perhaps an owl appears in the night, silent.
