Electra of the Future - this costume I'm making as part of my degree - has been quite the uphill struggle. Part of the project was to re-interpret the original Electra design as a sleek, aerodynamic, futuristic costume. The other part was to make it.

These shoulders win at the first, but lose on the second. This is vacuum-formed plastic, which is unfortunately too brittle for a fonctioning costume. The first time this got hit it would crack. Of course, had to try it to find that out....

So will, in time, replace these with the same design made from Wonderflex, covered in red fabric. Same decoration, so it'll look much the same.

I lvoe the chrome trim (from Halfords, designed for blinging cars) and holographic windows (card, designed for scrapbooking).

PLEASE tell me they look like the front of an express train?
