Description
The full Cats ensemble, drawing influences (and costume bits) from three different characters - Unitard is Mungojerry (made by me), Rum Tum Tugger wig and colours (authentic London production wig), and elements of Munkustrap makeup in the stripes and details. Makeup is water-based Snazaroo.The whole costume and makeup design tries to de-humanise the actor, to create a Jellicle cat - a creature which is more feline than human, but does not try to create a house cat directly.

Well, I made the unitard with the fur on the shoulders- actually frayed fabric not fur. Making Lycra catsuits is something of a hobby...
