so this is my entry for the last round of EquineGraphix auditions
I couldn't decide on a favourite film, or even a favourite scene from a film, so I chose to depict some of my favourite Disney characters in equine form! There's Ariel, Pegasus from Hercules and Rapunzel!
Ariel is supposed to be wishing she could be on land too, Pegasus is trying to get used to his wings, and Rapunzel is just wondering what on earth to do with all her hair :')
This was a bit of a drag to do if I'm honest - I didn't have any immediate inspiration and I was yo-yoying between ideas before settling for this just because of the short time we had. I know it isn't the most inspired piece ever, but I hope it shows my technique off enough for it to have a fighting chance of getting into this amazing group!

he was such a struggle - the stock was such bad quality and I had to colour change bay to white -_- lots of repainting on such a small little foal

omfg long red hair is so annoying. I have it, too. Everyones always like OMG IS UR HAIR NATRUAL? and im just like... i dunno, is the sky blue? LOOK AT MY EYEBROWS AND EYELASHES MOFO. (truefax: redheads dont have dark eyebrows. if thy do they're dyed/colored/not true redheads. my eyelashes and eyebrows have always been blonde.) My hair is currently buttlength, but my husband has a mini aneurysm anytime i even mention cutting it. #redheadproblems

I would love to have red hair! I'm blonde and everyone asks me if I dye my hair because my eyebrows are soo dark lol. Plus I am trying to grow my hair out because I want it to be much longer. It's currently like ribcage length and I want it to be butt length.

Yeah mine have always been blonde. My eyebrows darkened out a bit but they're still blonde. All of my body hair is blonde too.

and it seems that when someone has red hair, it automatically lets everyone else have a say in what they will do with their hair! ie: "if you dye your hair I'll kill you", "never cut your hair"
not complaining though bc red hair is the best

A man once told my mother when I was a newborn that she should dye my hair because red hair is disgusting. lmao. Ive never heard anything like that as an adult, always the praise and warnings about never cutting or dying and im just like... YOU CANT TELL ME WHAT TO DO?
