Description
This is my entry for BlueHorseStudios 's contest Can I just say that I absolutely LOVE manipping Isonoe! He is so so fun to bring to life I had so much trouble with Ozark though
there is literally no stock out there of grey draft horses galloping! I was contemplating using a Friesian and doing a crazy colour change at one point! Still, I'm happy with how this turned out!
I had never done a unicorn's tail like this, so that's why it looks a little...wacky, ahha I tried...
Also my lighting isn't the best in this -_- why can I never get it right grr!
The idea behind this image is that Ozark (who is a seasons deity) is galloping through the woods with Isonoe, the star keeper, and is changing the season to Autumn as he goes.
Isonoe isn't doing any star keeper-ish jobs here, just galloping along being his pretty self
Anyway, I hope you like it!

First off I love the many details in this graphic, it's so stunning. The height differences really tell a story. In Egyptian art, they would make those of higher rank bigger than life. Pharoahs would be huge, their wives, smaller than them but still bigger than normal, and then the slaves and such like ants around their feet. Here in this image, you have really captured Ozark's importance and his roll. I love how the background is changing from summer to fall, the change isn't sharp, it's not instant, instead it's flowing and smooth. Great work!
The lighting is beautiful, i know it has to be hard doing the lighting in this because of the season change but overall you did a wonderful job.
I would like to point out one thing and that's Isonoe's front legs. You have some of the old background left e.deviantart.net/emoticons/let… " width="15" height="15" alt="
" data-embed-type="emoticon" data-embed-id="395" title="
(Lick)"/> It's no big deal whatsoever. It's not too noticeable. The blending in the back feet on Isonoe is a little off, the front leg is perfect though! You can take a stock image that shows the hooves off and are somewhat in a similar position, cut the hooves out, past on your stock and smudge the edges to blend. Then voila! you have instant hooves!Overall this image is so lovely with so many aspects and details that draw your eyes. By far your best image, and yes i may be a little biased
