One Trait or Quirk: This boy’s gonna wear you out. He seems to have endless amounts of energy, and we’ve yet to see him standing still. He keeps running around and around and around the pen. We’re getting tired just watching him.

The saddle was carefully placed upon Flash' back and he immediately swivelled around and stared at his stomach in curiosity! What was that thing on his back?!
"Don't worry Flash, it's just a saddle! You'll be used to it soon enough," Amy reassured her horse.
"Well, he better! I don't want to be saddling a tricky horse every time we're at a competition!" Aoife laughed, "The sooner we can get him used to tack the better! Want me to fit a martingale too?"
"No, we shouldn't need one. We can always introduce one at a later date though." Amy replied.
The pair practiced taking the saddle on and off Flash's back as he stared at it, his eyes full of wonder. Soon the novelty of it wore off and he stood, impatient, staring at the paddock he could be running around. This suited Amy and Aoife fine - they wanted him to think nothing of it.
The bridle was hard to get Flash used to. When the metal of the bit was in him mouth he pulled funny faces and shook. He was fine with the reins and the headpiece - it was just the cold of the metal he would have to get used to! He didn't much like the girls putting on the bridle, leaving it, then taking it off again, but he soon got used to it, just like he got used to the saddle.
As Amy and Aoife were walking back up to the house after a hard day's work, they looked back on the paddock where Flash was rejoicing in his freedom by charging up and down the fenceline and bucking to his hearts content! Amy's heart filled with pride at the thought of how far her stallion had come in such a short time.
