well it's been a while since I uploaded something, and even longer since it's been traditional! I fell in love with the reference photo for this and I just had to draw it! I had so much fun doing this as well!
I do love my gorgeous RWW mare and I feel bad for neglecting her so much but look at her gorgeous XC colours!

story:

After her first cross country training with Sandy went so well, Amy couldn't wait to get back in the saddle and take RE's flashy warmblood around the course once again. Now armed with matching tack and XC colours, Amy led the mare out to the XC field and jumped on, ready to tackle whatever was thrown at her.

Georgie had her jumping in and out of water, up and down banks and over ditches for the next hour, all the while excited to see Sandy's progress. The mare was once again flying around perfectly! She seemed to love galloping cross country almost as much as Amy, and together they were unstoppable.

Coming up to one of the bigger questions on the course - the log and dith combination - Amy pushed the mare even faster to get the perfect distance. Sandy responded perfectly and with a snort, she rocked back onto her hindquarters and launched herself and her rider into the air, clearing the large obstacle with meters to spare! The pair really were flying!
