The battle between opposite elements is what makes this fight so legendary. I can already see the vision of the fight: Mario facing Doopliss in his Mario form, the partners taking care of the Witch Fortress Marilyn, and finally Vivian and Beldam having an up-close and personal confrontation with each other (especially for Vivian); can you imagine what conversation they would have while they're fighting each other? Your drawing has already given hints on what they're about to say.  I'll let the imagination take place.

So in other words, this is an exceptional piece of work you've done there Tanja! I hope you make more of the Paper Mario series in the future, especially Thousand Year Door.  Hey, if you feel like of course. It takes dedication, inspiration and skill to come up with something like this.

Sure, She still has a lot to learn, but she won't learn the rough life lessons unless she sees them for herself.   And That's why We Stand against You, Marilyn, and Doopliss. You are examples of people that go from Bad to Worse, Deceiving Others and Yourselves (2 Timothy 3:13). And We are not afraid to knock Evildoers like You Three back into your place.  We Desire Truth, and We're going to find out the Truth behind This 'Thousand-Year Door' and its 'Treasure'.  Even if it will cost us our own lives.   Prepare Yourselves! We will not hold back, and I expect You Three to do the Same! We'll Finish This, Right Here, Right Now. We Will Defeat You!"



Long Statement Aside, I am Amazed by this Piece. The Colliding Background, The Character's Expressions, and the Use of their Attacks, It's all Mouth-Dropping. It's a Climatic Battle between Two Sisters going in Two Completely Different Directions. One Seeks Truth and Understanding, the other relies on her own Wisdom and Discernment. One seeks to be free from the past, the other holds onto it. I could go on, but this piece alone speaks volumes.

I love how well the partners are developed in Paper Mario and the Thousand Year Door, and by far Vivian was my favorite. The fact that she was introduced sooner as an antagonist made having her as a partner an unexpected twist. Plus, I was invested in seeing her strike out on her own and wanting to stand up to her sisters.
