Description a puppeteer must first learn how to manoeuvre his own strings.

i don't like it (amateur/trendwhorish/not perfect), but oh well.

the thumbnail looks really great, but it seems to be lacking something in full view. i wish i knew what. the skin could do with some texture, and i think perhaps some colour would help. but i don't know if that's it. i do like the idea, and the composition is spot on.

pfft. Since you are now asking the impossible (I can't retake it; I've no hair any more!) I think I'll just file it under "Learning Experiences".

Nice idea/implementation - the levels and contrast/tonal range is especially good

nice....

what tone is it ?

is a tone a single note or a multiple of notes to create an overall timbre ?

dont denegrate your own greatness.. the start of a series perhaps?

self revelation? suggestion? emotions and connotations?

I like it very much and the last one..neither amatuerish or trend whorish ...instead stylish and crisp.. though perhapsd a little brash

try more subtlety in the next

thank you

The concept is there, but what's with your facial expression? Contrast is good, but it lacks something...I just don't know what.
I'll give up now.

Sod it.
It's all the facial expression. Yes, it needs to be frozen, but not in quite such a frigid style. A very slight smile I think would work wonders, and maybe even be slightly mocking.
