Whoa, great question, one which I WILL answer. There is this line of a Hispanic poet that fits the emotion the image brings out of me. Translated, it says something like this: " The poet makes his work of anything in this world. Even if the world was left with nothing but waste and desolation, still, of the waste and desolation would the poet make his writing". What I mean to say is that ... when I see it, I see a young man standing next to this dropped heart pendant, in in front of a grave of a woman, and her spirit or ghost behind him crying for seeing him like this. Or roles changed, the man in the grave, the lady crying in front of him. Either way, it would be a sad but beautiful story. There is my answer, Milady.
