Description Search+ using latest Everything search engine (1.3.3.658b x32 ) in "portable" mode, to search entire drive for file, folders, etc...
Everything should be installed with a skin, so no additional installation required.

Two skins will be installed:
1. If you want to use skin with portable Everything, choose Search+ (portable)
2. If you have already installed Everything, choose Search+
Note: If Search+ not working with installed Everything, check if your path to Everything install dir, matching with path in the skin.

Skin requires latest beta Rainmeter 3.1, and min Win XP.

All credits goes to jsmorley for a original idea & skin.

Please can you advise how to edit the size of this search bar so we can scale it to the size we need?

Doesn’t work. When clicking the search bar, I can type a letter before it stops letting me type.

Additionally, it’s way too small for my screen.

Just out of curiosity, what made you decide to use Everything over Locate32? As far as I can tell Locate32 seems to offer more search options and it can use a command line from Rainmeter to have its databases refreshed.

Everything is able to perform something that Locate32 cannot. It uses the MFT (Master File Table) of NTFS to look up its files. Meaning it's lightning fast with its initial scan, and then as long as you keep it running, no matter what you or your machine do, Everything instantly knows exactly which filenames are changing and which new files are appearing on your hard drive. With Locate32 you need to manually update database every time you want to perform a search. Plus, it uses very little resources, and it also appears to have a more intelligent result sorting mechanism. And finally, Locate32 UI is not pleasant for my eyes.

i like it, but this doesnt rly search anything, it just opens Everything.

now, i dont know if it was meant this way or not,

anyway, i will definitely use this if you fix it (because now it's just a luncher for Everything)

I can't fix anything. Because in my case, everything works like a charm.

Anyway, If you using portable version, maybe you should try to exit Everything from the "system tray", and do some custom search again.
Everything needs some time from the first start, to perform scan of your hard drive.
