This was my entry for the Vue Environment Competition 2009 by e-on-software. Unfortunately, this image was not chosen to be a finalist one. I hope you will appreciate it more than e-on software team did.Vue 7.4 XStream

Really a good image - I like the little details you see on the second look, like the wooden door on the left or even the knight because he's off-center. Like `priteeboy said, the trees look great, the have enormous depth and detail.
And while I like the colorful approach you took on other pics (like the Rome one), the muted colors here work really well and give the whole image a painterly feeling.

dipende anche da schermo a schermo, in veritΓ (inoltre ho notato che deviantart aumenta automaticamente il contrasto delle immagini, lo noto soprattutto quando invio roba fatta coi media tradizionali).

This is a stunning piece of Vue work. A beautiful image in it's own right. It's the best Vue work I've seen on DA, or anywhere else for that matter. I'm so tired of looking at jungles lol. it could almost be a Constable in 3D. Well done. I wish I could do something of this quality.

Thanks, I've done most of the geekatplay tuts, they're great. I've done the quadspinner ones too! I just can't seem to get that kind of image, maybe my system being to slow? May I ask what kind of system you're running to get that quality of render. I'm running a 64bit dual core AMD athlon 5200, with 4Gig DDR2 ram. I'm thinking of upgrading to a quad core intel I6600, with 12Gig ram. Upping my GPU to an Nvidia to run SLI too.

My pc consists of a intel i7 965 (so 8 cores), 12 GB ram and a ati 4870 on vista 64. I'm very lucky under this point of view.
In vue the video card is only useful to refresh the 4 views, but doesn't affect render time at all. So my advice is to spend more money on the cpu (the quad core is ok; the more cores, the better) rather than buying a couple of gpus. Hope my english is not ugly.

I love Vue'd esprit program. that's what very nice 3d rendering program. I used to use it in version 3 & 4
but now don't use for a long time.
