Personality: Temperamental, competitive, petty, belligerent, curious, paranoid, passionate, playful, sensitive.

Tad is a pretty amiable fellow, when you first meet him. He’s talkative, and has a loud laugh. He likes to tease people and get them to react, heaven forbid you do not appreciate the teasing because he’s always ready to get into a fight, and he won’t hold back.

Within a turf war, he’s much more irritating. If things go badly at first because of his team mates, he will start the negativity. “Good game guys, we’re done.” with sarcasm dripping down his chin. Don’t bite, or he’ll start to bicker, yell, whatever.

If things go badly for him, it’s a different story. he becomes irrational and rushes in to splat people. Will end up with him being splatted so many times he explodes with rage or tears or both.

He’s an easy crier, and seeing tears streaming down his face is common. He does not appreciate inquiries, as he is very embarrassed by it, and it will cause him to blubber and yell mean things! how rude!

He loves to do things with and around people, and he tries hard to never be be by himself. (doesn’t always mean he’s with good company…. lol)

In truth, he cares too much about what people think, and it is evident he is under a lot of stress, he just doesn’t seem to be able to admit it.

reasons to cry - Stress, anger, being splatted, embarrassment, losing, skinning his knees and elbows, getting into a fist fight, not being able to hit the other team mates, being stuck in enemy ink, someone seeing you cry, someone seeing hair, being last on the team, the kraken, really good food

Background: Tad was raised in the city by his parents and grandmother with his five older brothers. They never had much, but Tad never wanted for anything, things seemed good enough the way they were. When he was young, he was genuine, teasing, and feisty. He got in a lot of fights with his brothers, which Tad thought was all in good fun. His mother used to call him trouble, he thought that was fun as well. He felt loved, he felt happy. Sometimes, his parents were so frustrated by his shenanigans that they would yell at him a lot, he thought it was a great game. He would smile and laugh at their ‘frustration’, continuing on his merry way.

Then, one fateful day, less than a year ago, the meaning of every one of the things his parents and siblings said to him was changed when he was subjected to a good pummelling by a few members of the family. The kind where no one listens.

Suddenly, things weren’t so fun. Restless in a situation he feels helpless within, Tad acts out verbally. Though he never initiates physical fights, he will fight with ferocity. He mostly takes his pent up angst out on other inklings in turf wars.

In a little known, recent event, during a mental breakdown in a particularly heated turf war he nabbed an empathetic, opposing teams splattershot and splatted his own team mate.

I dunno why his tentacles are different lengths. Stress? hormones? Don’t notice it, don’t make fun of it!
