That makes no sense. Goku couldn't even beat Raditz alone. He needed to team up with Piccolo and sacrifice himself to win against his brother. Saying that Vilgax is equivalent to Raditz means that Goku will have some trouble fighting against the Ben Ten villain; even if Goku goes Super Saiyan.

I'm talking about current dumbass! The one that reached Super Saiyan 3 (4 if you follow Dragonball GT) And at that point he'd need to destroy the universe to break a sweat.

What I am trying to say is that its not about who has the highest power level. Even though Goku has enough power and energy to defeat Vilgax, he doesn't have the stamina to defeat him. One of Goku's primary weaknesses is that his power ups require an absurd amount of energy to maintain.

Thats why he trains! Thats was the whole point of training in the Hyperbolic Timechamber. Afterwards he could stay in Super Saiyan form for a day(s). So stamina is not an issue. Plus he's has plenty of it since took on Kid Buu who had unlimited stamina and was as strong as Super Saiyan 3 Goku.
