Well mostly pencil, the heavier black lines are done in black biro, all the shading is done using various grades of pencils HB B6 etc, then I used a paper taper to smudge the graphite to get smoother tones.
Those white lines to show the fabric stretches are done with the sharp edge cut into an eraser, then darker shade lines added underneath for effect. This drawing is about 3 years old now, I'm still learning this process and enjoying it
I'll be posting a series of pix a little later showing the process of a drawing, you might find that interesting.
