This is the fourth element of the Batman Begins poster I'm working on and will be updated as the piece progresses.It's been in the works a long time.

Thank you so very much for sharing your tutorials you are very generous and it is much appreciated. I am very new to digital painting it is nice to see how to start from scratch. I am so happy you've mentioned about vector line in adobe illustrator I am not an artist at all and it is very hard to do line sketch but I have adobe illustrator I shall look for some tutorial to do vector line and go from there for my digital painting.

I suck in colouring/digital painting in photoshop : (
I just got a wacom tablet, I think your tips will be usefull thank you very much,
I'm looking to improve my digital skills with photoshop, I have good knowledge in Illustrator and photoshop is so so (not bad).
I'm wondering if u use any pluggins0 or addons for photoshops? my probs with photoshop is to get the color and shades smooth and picture like...

I don't use any filters or plugins - they take the challenge out of the work.

Oh yep this is great, I think Gary Oldman is brilliant too. I'm reading your creation process and it goes........ Whooosh! ........straight over my head! And I always thought rasterizing was singing Bob Marley songs!

When I write these, I just assume that anyone who wants to use the technique understands what I'm talking about.
It's kind of ironic really since I quite often don't know what I'm talking about...

oh yeah i love gary oldman. The pointillism Oldman and Roth peices blew my mind and im sure this one will too.
PS: what's your favorite Oldman film?

Leon (aka The Professional), without a doubt.
It's a tough call though because I love his work in Dracula, The Fifth Element & True Romance too. So many to choose from!
Lost in Space is probably my least favourite.

Yeah, the collar looks picture quality. The whole drawing is turning our rather nicely so far. Hopefully the whole thing will be done at some point.
