Description
A location in the Dementia region of the Shivering Isles, ruled over by the Madgod Sheogorath, Daedric Prince of Madness. As usual I adjusted color and lightning to make a more cinematic and vibrant picture.

This just looks like the ESO version of Morrowind at night: mushrooms, check; indoril architecture, check.
Is this really how they made the Shivering Isles appear?

The Shivering Isles has always had many similarities with Morrowind. Since its first appearance in the Oblivion DLC its had this kind of environment. So Zenimax, the creators of ESO has stayed true to the lore of the Shivering Isles.
There's lots of kinds of racial architectural styles on the Shivering Isles, Indoril architecture is merely one of them. Sheogorath is known to "steal" landmarks and landmasses from Nirn and place it in his own Realm. That may be one of the reasons its so similar to Morrowind.

Since when is he known to steal architecture? SI used entirely unique sets.

By the third Era, there was one building that he stole. But you're right most of what we've seen before is entirely unique. And that one building he stole hasn't featured in a game, other than the DLC. But it is still explained in the lore.
And in the First Era he stole an island named Eyevea.Β

What one building, what DLC? Eyevea is an ESO thing from what I understand.
I'm not trying to bring down ESO; I liked a lot of the zones I explored. But it's kind of Molag Bal's thing to emulate Nirn in his realm, only a corrupted version. Not Sheogorath.

The Shivering Isles DLC for Oblivion had one building that was explained in the lore as stolen from Nirn. I do not know which one as its been a while since I played it. Might find something about it on the wiki though.
Eyevea is first featured in ESO, yes, but it was stolen by Sheogorath in the First Era.

Didn't find anything about a stolen building in SI and don't recall one from playing the DLC, but I could be wrong.

I love this picture!! Β Honestly I had low hopes for this MMO because I felt that nothing could beat the single player games that I've been playing for years, but after playing it for a few weeks now I can say that I'm addicted and it has completely blown my mind!!
