This took me soooooo long to go through, but I finally made it. I made so many changes and fixes and it never looked right, so some weeks I would just drop it and go play Battlefield. And I think this is the first complete background I've done (no textures, no photos, 100% drawn) and I'm pretty happy with it. Funny thing is that I've done the background as the last thing, and it took me less than an hour, but the rest was a nightmare. I've probably f***ed something up, but I hope you guys can forgive me. (Wings looked so easy to do at first........sigh).Well, so here's everyone's coolest pegasus. Hope you guys like it!
EDIT: Added some higher resolution images with 3 different aspect ratios. And also moved the link to the corner. (If you guys see it being modified please let me know)

Hey buddy, you've had a massive impact on my life and it's strange that in all these years I've never told you as such, mate if not for your art, I would be dead.
I struggled with mental health issues in my teens and early adulthood one night I was all alone in my first place, I had packed up all my stuff, I had cleaned up my apartment to be handed back to the owners after I was found, and I had written my suicide note, said my last goodbyes, and was shutting down my computer for the last time. It was on that night that I stared at my desktop wallpaper, this artwork of Rainbow Dash, you're drawing/painting that I stared at, for near an hour. And I decided I did have something worth giving another day on this planet for.
This was some 8 years ago and I've held on this entire time; I've sought professional help for my mental health; I've reconnected with family; I've travelled overseas; I've taken on new hobbies/skills/professions; I've had a re-collapse of health and am going through further treatment again; and all the other things that make up a regular life have been given back to me because of your artwork being there for me at exactly the right time.
I'm sorry for dumping this on you out of nowhere, years after the fact, but I figured you deserve to know, and I want you to never underestimate the power of art for as long as you shall live.
Thank you, thank you, thank you for these additional 8 years you've given me, and however many more.

Not sure if you know this but... your picture was used to honor a little girl's eulogy at a funeral. I saw your picture in the video shown on the article...

I wasn't expecting you to respond but... when I saw this picture on DA, and saw it was the same one used for a little girl's eulogy, I was surprised. But I guess the girl's parents must've liked the pic a lot to use it to honor their child. It's a beautiful rendition of Rainbow Dash though, and I'm sure the kid would've loved it.
